The research group
GETEF (Grupo
Especializado en Termodinámica de los Equilibrios entre Fases)
is in the Department of Applied Physics at the University of Valladolid
and was born in 1994.
We are a group of experts in thermodynamics, interested in fluid and
condensed phase equilibria. Mainly, we have been working in the study of
non-electrolyte mixtures, following the five guidelines shown in the
section:
Research topics.
All along this time, some students of the Physics and Chemistry degrees
of the University of Valladolid have been collaborating with us. They
have received grants for doing research, have done their works of
degree,
their doctorate courses or their doctoral thesis:
Mr
Juan María Fernández
Martínez. Bachelor and Doctor in Physics. Professor of
High School of Physics and Chemistry. He collaborated with us from
1992 to 1998. He defended his thesis
on
2nd July, 1996,
supervised by Cobos.
Mr
Francisco Javier Carmona del
Río. Bachelor and Doctor in Physics. He collaborated with
us from
1995 to 2001 and had
several grants related with our pojects. He defended his thesis on
15th February, 2001,
supervised by Cobos and García.
Mr
Nicolás Riesco
Fernández. Bachelor and Doctor in Physics. He received a
grant from the National Program of University teachers and Research
Staff. He collaborated with us from
1997
to 2004. He defended his thesis on
12th December, 2003,
supervised by González.
Mrs
Susana Villa Vallejo.
Bachelor an Doctor in Physics. She received a grant from the University
of Valladolid to do her doctorate. She collaborated with us from
1997 to
2004. She defended her thesis on
30th
January, 2004, supervised by García.
Mr
Ismael Mozo Ruiz. Bachelor and Doctor
in Physics. He collaborated with us
since 2002.
He defended his thesis on
16th December, 2010,
supervised by Cobos and González.
Mr
Victor Alonso Gómez.
Bachelor in Physics. He is doing his thesis, received a grant from Junta de Castilla y León and
is collaborating with us since
2005.
Mr
Iván Alonso Miguel.
Bachelor in Physics. He is doing his thesis, received a grant from Junta de Castilla y León and
is collaborating with us since
2008.
Mrs
Ángela Mediavilla Trabada.
Bachelor in Physics. She is doing her thesis and
is collaborating with us since
2010.
Mr
Francisco Javier Arroyo Maestu.
Bachelor in Physics. He received a grant from the University of
Valladolid and collaborated with us from
1995 to 1999. He presented his work
of degree in 1997.
Mr
Rubén Martínez
Díez. Bachelor in Physics. He received a grant from the
University of Valladolid and collaborated with us from
1997 to 1999. He presented his work
of degree in 1999.
Mr
Andrés Serna
Gutiérrez. Bachelor in Physics. He received a grant to do
research from the University of Valladolid. He collaborated with us
from
1993 to 1996. He
presented his work of degree in 1994.
Mr

Hernández. Bachelor in Chemistry. He collaborated with us
from
1997 to 1998. He
presented his work of degree in 1998.
Mr
Tomás Romero Albillos.
Bachelor in Physics. He received a grant to do
research from the University of Valladolid. He collaborated with us
from
1998 to 2000. He
presented his work of degree in 2000.
Mrs
María Aboy Cebrián.
Bachelor in Physics. She received a grant from the Ministry to do
research during the course
2000-2001.
Mr
Juan Lobos Martín.
Bachelor in Physics. He collaborated with us from
2003 to 2005. He presented his work
of degree in 2004.
Mrs
Marta Fernández
Regúlez. Bachelor in Physics. She collaborated
with us from
2004 to 2007. She presented finished her
doctoral studies in 2007.
As it can be seen, the
GETEF is a
research group with both:
research capacity
(see below) as well as
training capacity.
This is proved by the number of students from the degree and doctorate
who continuously join the group. Above all,
we are teachers,
so we must spend our time on teaching our students how to do research.
